Marcus' BotCon Europe 2002 Report
The 2002 European BotCon was held in Cheshunt, England on November 3rd. My friend André and I attended. On this page you will find a few pictures I took during the convention. A better version, perhaps with an actual report, will be made shortly probably never. For now, enjoy the pictures.

Outside Wolsey Hall
This is where BotCon was held. People on the left were pre-registrants.

The main hall
This is where the Q&A-sessions and the auction were held.

Fortress Maximus and other toys
There were a few of there for sale. I didn't get one. Sigh.

A bunch of toys
...including two non-Transformers Omega Supreme
-
Some original seekers
These guys were expensive, naturally.
-
Armada Blurr
Apparently the only one in the UK! Those who bought stuff from this dealer had a chance to win Blurr at the end of the day. I didn't win.
-
Armada Blurr with Mini-Con and stuff
All the stuff the winner got (only one Armada #1). A couple of runners-up got Armada #1.

Close-up of Wankus
He was kind enough to stop to let me take this. Cheers!
-
Fear Ramjet!
The convention was invaded by this Decepticon seeker. Or perhaps it was a guy in a cardboard suit.
- André's new Starscream
-
All the stuff André got
...except the T-shirt and four posters. Left to right: Some weird McDonalds Transformer, Tap-Out, Laserbeak, Ravage, Re-Issue Starscream, and Astrotrain.

All the stuff that I got
Top to bottom, left to right: SCF Megatron, Armada Demolishor, the BotCon T-shirt; BW Silverbolt, Mini-Con Destruction Team, Armada Starscream; "The Wreckers" (BotCon 2001 comic), Armada Cyclonus, G1 Ruckus & whatever the Duocon's name is, voucher for the real exclusive toy, Tap-Out x 2; "Reaching the Omega Point" (BotCon 2000 Comic), McArmada Optimus Prime and the exclusive art print. The real exclusive, Rook, wasn't ready in time, but we will get it sometime in December.
